This handsome strap is gentlemanly and sophisticated would suit any dressy purpose for a fancier mood. It is different from J & FJ Baker's Russian Calf which we also offer in the collection. Horween's version is a supple rounded tannage and aniline top combine superbly results in rich colorful options. Rigid and firm to the touch, exceptionally durable which is beloved by the globe for bespoke footwear and other leather goods.

Horween Leather Company was founded in 1905 and is in Chicago, Illinois, USA. They offer a wide range of tannages from the vegetable-tanned Genuine Shell Cordovan to Sport Leathers and Footwear Leathers, like Chromexcel, Chamois, and Pioneer Hatch Grain (Russian Grain Leather). The leather is made to look like the over 200-year-old Russian reindeer leather once found in a sunken brigantine located in the Plymouth Sound. Horween's version doesn't come with the same provenance, but it's very handsome.
